The Horseapp app for iPhone and iPad

The Horseapp is an international app for all people who loves Horses and easily want to find Knowledge, Blogs, News and How to best take care of Horses.
The Horseapp helps you to collect all desired info related to Horses in one app with a possibility to share info with grooms, the Horse trainer or with your family and friends. The Horseapp includes a wide range of functions and possibilities and it is up to you as user to decide how your app will look like and how it will be used.
Below you´ll find some of the functions in The Horseapp:

Share once or all the time with your contacts or contact-groups (the app only uses the contacts from your phonebook if and when you choose to do so).

Download Horseimages as eg screensavers.

The GPS-functions in The Horseapp make your Ride safe, make your loved ones stop worry and help you to see where and for how long you have been riding.
Remark: Your GPS-position will be visible only for from you chosen contact persons and only once you press the Alarm or when your ride has taken too long.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

• GPS – Timer – Enter what time you will be back. If you don’t stop it in due time the app will send a message to your contact persons telling them where you are (with your coordinates and a Map).
• GPS – Alarm – Your contacts will get a SMS (with your position) if you press the Button when you are in danger or need help. This function is useful 24-7. Please use it with care and only in emergency.The GPS Alarm-function is a security function for both riders and as well as for the relatives/families. It is the app-owner who decide to whom and when the position will be sent and it can only be sent to persons which have been accepted in the app-owners app-contactbook with the info from the other registered person.
It is not possible to find a new contact in an open contactlist.

• GPS – Ride – Press Start and go for a pleasant horse ride and on Stop when you return. Check your Rides and control how long, far and fast your horse ride was. You will for sure find use of this function in other cases as well. The GPS Ride is a function in which the rider either in advance states the planned time for a route or activity and the app will send his/her position only to the selected persons (from the apps contacts) if its not de-activited within planned time range.
This function can also be used for the rider to track and save his/her ride to get the history of the route, speed and time.
